Alternative energy park

In Lentiszombathely, in and around the former school building, an alternative energy demonstration centre has been set up, where visitors can learn about the modern use of renewable energy sources. In addition to solar and wind energy demonstrations, there is also a solar-powered rest area.

Lentiszombathely bell tower

There is no small village around Lenti where you won’t find a wooden bell tower. One of the oldest of these in Lentiszombathely stands out. At the edge of the settlement, at the entrance to the cemetery, on the hillside, stands the square bell tower with a skirt, a folk monument. Its closed skirt, covered with shingles, is supported by eight columns set on pedestals, and the trunk of the tower is made up of three columns. Its dormer is also covered with shingles. The tower has two bells. The belfry, built in 1790 and protected as a historical monument, was replaced in 1938.
